In the event that a Iris Furnishing Ltd product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Iris Furnishing Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Iris Furnishing Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Iris Furnishing Ltd shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Iris Furnishing Ltd without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
Iris Furnishing Ltd may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Iris Furnishing Ltd.
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of California, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of Iris Furnishing Ltd products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of Iris Ltd products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. Iris Ltd’s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. Iris Ltd may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a Iris Ltd or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or other organization.
Iris Ltd does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing the site, and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. You acknowledge that by providing you with the ability to view and distribute user-generated content on the site, Iris Ltd is merely acting as a passive conduit for such distribution and is not undertaking any obligation or liability relating to any contents or activities on the site. However, Iris Ltd reserves the right to block or remove communications or materials that it determines to be (a) abusive, defamatory, or obscene, (b) fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, (c) in violation of a copyright, trademark or; other intellectual property right of another or (d) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to Iris Ltd in its sole discretion.

In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, Iris Ltd may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with Iris Ltd, Iris Ltd has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Iris Ltd. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. Nonetheless, Iris Ltd seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).
Bespoke and custom made items are not eligible for cancellation rights unless one of the following conditions arises:
- A faulty manufacture process resulting in structural defects that cannot be rectified by Iris Furnishing.
Damage that has occurred in transit to the customer that cannot be rectified by Iris Furnishing Ltd.
The colour of the item is considered a significant departure from that which is ordered, and cannot be rectified by Iris Furnishing.
The exterior dimensions (height, width or depth) of the item are in variance from your order by a value that exceeds 1.5cm.
The item is not for for the purpose for which it is normally intended.
The item is infested with insects which cannot be removed with an application of pesticide.
Iris Furnishing endeavors to liaise with its suppliers in India regarding internal configuration of items (shelf spacing, interior paintwork, drawer lining) but these specifics cannot be guaranteed and the absence of such internal requests does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
Iris Furnishing invites customers to choose patterns from its web site. Such patterns will be recreated by hand by our artisans in India and as such will not be replicas of the patterns seen on our web site. They will be recognisable as the same pattern but they will not be identical. Customers should allow for a degree of artistic license in the recreation of patterns and a variance in said patterns between the customers item and items pictured on our web site does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
Iris Furnishing will send customers’ drawings to India but this will serve mostly as a guide and any deviation in measurements other than exterior measurements (height width or depth) will not constitute grounds for cancellation.
Iris Furnishing will attempt to arrange for the customer’s bespoke item to be in the UK within 3-4 months. However exporting bespoke hand made furniture from India is a complex business and occasionally this time frame may be exceeded. Iris Furnishing will communicate any delays with you. For the customer to be eligible for cancellation there must have been a 9 month wait before any version of the bespoke order has arrived in the UK.
Cancellation Policy to Stock Items – on our web site (does not apply to bespoke orders)
If a customer wishes to return their item within 14 days of delivery they may do so without giving a reason. Once the consumer has notified Iris Furnishing Ltd that they wish to cancel the contract, they must return the goods to us without delay and within 14 days after that notification, unless Iris Furnishing have offered to collect them.
Iris Furnishing Ltd will refund the outbound delivery cost also (but only the standard outbound delivery fee of £50- not any more expensive delivery option that a customer may have chosen, for example a 2 man delivery fee.) The customer will be refunded in full for their item and standard outbound delivery fee within 14 days of the item being received by Iris Furnishing Ltd. Iris Furnishing Ltd retain the right to deduct monies from the refund if the item shows signs of use or unreasonable handling.
If a customer notices a fault within 30 days of taking delivery of their furniture Iris Furnishing Ltd will repair or replace said item so long as it can be proved that the fault was present at the time of delivery. However if a customer chooses their own courier or collects and transports the item themselves then Iris Furnishing Ltd are not obliged to repair or replace said item (however we never refuse to assist the customer with repairs by sending replacement parts (knobs, handles, pieces of bone or mother of pearl) and if the item is within a reasonable distance from Brighton we often carry out repairs but this is down to our discretion.
